While it is possible to buy, eat, or do just about anything you want during your honeymoon in Honolulu, there are two commodities that can be hard to come by: space and serenity. The Halekulani (translation: House Befitting Heaven) has both in spades: Space comes courtesy of spacious rooms (even standard accommodations have a sitting area, lanai, and deep sunken tub) and a large land parcel (the hotel sits on five acres at the end of Waikiki. Serenity may be found during check-in (which happens in your room not at a crowded reception desk), while dining on the neoclassical French cuisine at La Mer restaurant (the only AAA five diamond restaurant in Hawaii), or in the Pacific Island-inspired spa. Bonus: Readers of Travel + Leisure voted the hotel as having the best service in the Aloha State.
