Your honeymoon is a chance to go somewhere you have never been before. But make sure you know what you are doing. All of our resorts are categorized by one of three experience levels - which can be selected in the match tool. Which one are you?

Savvy
You have a strong sense of world geography and have travelled frequently to distant lands diverse in economy and culture. You are equally comfortable off the beaten path and in major cities. You have been to a country that speaks another language. You are culturally sensitive and you are able to sort out socially and environmentally responsible tour operators, activities, and vendors. You assess personal safety risk before travel and remain in touch with local news and information while vacationing in foreign locations. You know the steps to take as a foreigner should you become a victim of theft of violence.

Competent
You have a strong sense of world geography and have traveled frequently for work which may include international travel. You are culturally sensitive and you are able to sort out socially and environmentally responsible tour operators, activities, and vendors. You assess personal safety risk before travel and remain in touch with local news and information while vacationing in foreign locations. You know the steps to take as a foreigner should you become a victim of theft of violence.

Novice
Trust us, you don't wan't your honeymoon to be the first time you are in a foreign speaking country. You are a novice if you've traveled infrequently within or beyond the United States. You been known to forget that Hawaii is a U.S. territory and your not exactly sure what that means anyway. Any international trips you've take have not required for you to become familiar with local customs and happenings. You know safety may be an issue when you travel internationally, but your not sure what things you would do differently to say safe outside the U.S.
